full time Electrical Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3-5 years of work experience. A thorough understanding of standard engineering theories, an understanding of standard concepts, principles and techniques, and proficiency in Auto Cad, Microsoft Excel required. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents and possess an ability to lead change, and to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required as well as a be able to work with well others. This position requires: a familiarity with PLC control systems, PC based controllers and relay logic; ability to design and implement 0-10V DC, 4-20mA, 24V DC, 120 V AC, 208V, 230V, 380V, 460V, 1 Phase, 3 Phase, 50-60 Hz Systems; familiarity with incremental, absolute, rotary, linear encoders, resolvers; familiarity with electric servo systems (analog & digital), (AC & DC); familiarity with Variable Frequency, Vector AC Systems; produce associated drawings and instructions; perform engineering duties that require exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices; work from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other important information; prepare specifications and documents in accordance with requirements; establish formats and instructions for machine manuals; investigate/troubleshoot technical problems and establish procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences; cable layout design and verification; system/concept design; BOM (Bill of Material) design and verification; establish project cost estimates based upon specifications and/or drawings.
