Florence, Ala. – May 10, 2006
Sarah Beth Vandiver of Florence has recently joined the staff of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce. Vandiver will serve as Leadership Coordinator, as well as Administrative Assistant to Chamber President Steve Holt.

Vandiver has served as a sales associate for Audie Mescal Clothing in Tuscumbia, and prior to that, as a sales associate for Grogan Jewelers in Huntsville. She received a bachelor’s degree in human environmental sciences, with a minor in health, from the University of North Alabama. While at UNA, she was widely involved on campus, participating as a Lionette for the Pride of Dixie Marching Band, and as a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. In 2004, Vandiver was crowned Miss University of North Alabama.

In her work for the Chamber, Vandiver will oversee the Leadership Shoals and Youth Leadership Shoals community leadership development programs.

The Shoals Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit agency dedicated to promoting economic growth and enhance the quality of life for all Shoals citizens.
