SHOALS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO HOST
PRESS CONFERENCE ON AIRPORT SCHEDULE CHANGES

The Shoals Chamber of Commerce will join officials from Northwest Alabama Regional Airport at a press conference to discuss recent changes in the Airport’s flight schedule and its potential affects on the Shoals area’s economic development. The press conference will take place Thursday, June 8 at 11 a.m. at the Northwest Alabama Regional Airport Terminal.

Speakers for the event will include Steve Holt, president of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce, John Lehrter, Northwest Alabama Regional Airport director, and Ed Borden, Northwest Alabama Regional Airport Authority board chairman.

June 8 marks the first day travelers will be able to take advantage of a new early morning departure and late night arrival flight, as well as an additional daily Northwest Airlink flight.

Invited guests include the mayors and city council members of Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield and Tuscumbia, and officials from North Alabama Council of Local Governments (NACOLG), Shoals Chamber of Commerce, Shoals Economic Development Authority (SEDA) and the Northwest Alabama Regional Airport Authority Board of Directors, among others.
