Jan
Ingle has worked at S.B.S. Electric Supply Co. for over 15 years,
where she is a Purchasing Agent. Jan is a Past President of the UNA National
Alumni Association, a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, and very
involved in CASA,
United Way
of the Shoals, Florence Camerata! and local community theatre, Jan
also teaches water aerobics at the YMCA. She and her husband Brian
are members of
Highland
Baptist
Church
where she sings in the choir.
For
over 61 years, S.B.S. Electric Supply Co., Inc. has been an
independent electrical distributor covering the four major market
areas - industrial, utility, commercial and residential.
Originally
in 1948 S.B.S. was located on
South Royal Avenue
in a 2,000 square foot building, expanding later to 10,000 square
feet. In 1969 S.B.5. moved to its present location at
625 South Cherry Street
with 32,000 square feet under roof and an additional 5,000 square
feet fenced concrete area for heavy inventory.
The
broad distribution market of S.B.5. in a relatively small
geographical area has allowed S.B.S. Electric Supply Company to
sell the quality service aspect of our business. We are
continually adapting our operation to meet our individual customer
base and their needs.
